The District Director gave an overview about ongoing and upcoming projects, events and the importance of minutes of meetings, after activity reports and the directives of the National Auxiliary Director. 

The Dep. Director for Administration gave an overview of the most important activities of PCG and PCGA in Bohol such as: emphasizing on Maritime Safety, Maritime Security, Maritime SAR, high level meetings with the Governor, and meetings with the DENR regarding carrying capacities and 20m easements. Other government representatives from the LGU’s of municipalities and the Province, NGOs such as PADO, PTC, ABCAI, PCCI, etc. were also present during the DENR meeting. 


One of the highlights of the PCG projects in Bohol is the installation of a radar system on Balicasag island. Another urgent project in close coordination with the Commander CGS is the creation of a Bohol Search And Rescue/Recovery team or unit consists of qualified PCG/PCGA officers and non-officers. As for the Province the creation of a Provincial Security and Safety Command Center involving the martime AOR’s as well as topside AOR’s is planned as suggested by the Governor of Bohol. The next meeting re that command center will commence ASAP with the Governor and his executive staff, some technical people, the Commander CGS Bohol and the Dep. Director CGADCVA, Commanders from AFP and PNP as well as others. It will be a briefing on some proposed technical interventions that can address both the peace and order and the disaster preparedness of the province. The Commander CGS Bohol is also preparing to activate new CGSS’s as well as a Coast Guard Training Center. 
Upcoming project: Medical and Dental Missions at Cabilao Island, Loon jointly initiated by CGS Bohol, CGMED Svc- CV, CG Dental Svc- CV, PCGA Bohol, LGU-Loon and Tzu Chi Foundation. 
The squadron director’s present or their representatives forwarded after activity reports, and reported further on their accomplished, ongoing and upcoming activities.

CGADCVD, CGADCVOP, CGADCVA, 201st Squad, 203rd Squad, 207th Squad and 209th Squad as well as the PCG D7 Deputy.

In a unanimous decision penned by Justice Alex L. Quiroz, Chairperson of the Fourth Division of the Sandiganbayan, the anti-graft court acquitted retired Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, Admiral Wilfredo D. Tamayo of the charge for violation of Section 3 (e) of the Republic Act No. 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Associate Justice Lorifel L. Pahimna and Associate Justice Bayani H. Jacinto concurred with the decision.
